The short answer is: we're not sure. It is difficult to forecast how significant of a role social distancing will need to play in our 2022 event, but we are currently operating under the assumption that we will need to plan for a lower capacity than we have had in previous years.

Because of this, and because we received overwhelmingly positive feedback about the 7-Day experience from our 2020 attendees, we have decided to finalize our transition into a full 7-day event. 

As a result, we've:

  • Reduced the price of 7-day admission for both GA and VIP
  • Significantly reduced the price of 7-day admission for Costa Rican citizens (who are able to present a valid cédula at the Envision box office).
  • Implemented a new flexible payment plan option that will allow you to automatically spread your payments out over a 6-month period. 

7 days of Envision means more of everything you love: more sunset beach parties; more mind awakening workshops; more life-changing music & art experiences; more opportunities to grow into the person you are meant to become.

We are excited to welcome you back in 2022 to experience Envision in its full week-long splendor.

Yes. 

Envision has sold out the past three years in a row. Given that we are currently considering admitting a lower capacity based on new safety protocols this year, it is extremely likely that Envision tickets will sell out in advance of the event. We recommend you make plans soon!

The best time to start planning your Envision trip is and will always be now

In addition to our ticketing and accommodation options selling out each year for the past three years, buying a ticket now will always give you the best possible prices and the best selection of options to make your experience everything that you want it to be. 

The only exception to this rule would be if you have access to a time-machine (looking at you Marty McFly). If this is the case, please email us at info@envisionfestival.com, because we would like to have a chat with you about traveling back to relive Envision 2020.

After consulting several different expert-driven modeling scenarios with our internal safety team, we are optimistic and confident that Envision 2022 will happen as intended. 

However, we understand that nobody can predict the future and provide this information to help you be sure that you will always get the value of any purchases you make with Envision. 

In the event that Envision 2022 is cancelled or postponed, you have three primary options for your tickets and accommodations:

  1. Your tickets will automatically be transferred to the new festival date.
  2. You can choose to move your tickets to any of the following three years: 2023,  2024, or 2025. 
  3. You can resell your ticket through the official Envision Festival ticketing resale platform, that will be going live in 2021.

In accordance with our official ticketing Terms and Conditions, we are not able to offer ticket refunds for any reason. 

To build Envision into the thriving ecosystem that is laid before you when you arrive to the event, it requires the efforts of thousands of people- many of which work year round and arrive to site as far as 6 months in advance of the festival date to start build. This means that a vast majority of our expenses are incurred far before the festival takes place. If we were to offer refunds, it could easily lead to an existential challenge that our company would not be able to overcome. 

We want you to be able to enjoy Envision for decades to come. Our work to positively impact our planet is not nearly done, and we hope you'll understand how meaningful it is that you are willing to trust us amidst all of the uncertainty in the world today.

The new Envision Payment Plans system will allow you to spread your payments out over the course of a 6-month period. You'll pay a deposit when you first check-out that is equal to 1/6th of your total cart balance. 

Your account will then automatically be charged at the same time of the month over the next 6 months without any further action required.

If a payment attempt fails for whatever reason (e.g. card has expired, is no longer valid, insufficient funds or card is declined by the bank), then we will:

  1. Give you notice of the failed payment attempt advising you that we will try to take payment again in 7 days, giving you the opportunity to correct the situation;
  2. If the payment attempt fails again, we will send you a second failed payment notice and again wait to charge you for another 7 days;
  3. If the payment attempt fails for a third time, we may at our discretion cancel the booking by giving you written notice. 

Please note, upon cancellation of the booking due to your failure to keep up with the Payment Plan, your order will be cancelled and you will lose your deposit as well as any previous installments that you have paid.

We understand that a lot can change between now and February 2022, and we want you to feel confident that your purchase today will always hold value for you. 

So from now until September 1, 2021, you may voluntarily choose to transfer any ticket purchases to a future year if your willingness to travel or availability changes. After September 1, 2021, you will only be able to transfer your ticket to a future year in the event that Envision 2022 is cancelled or postponed. You will always  be able to resell your ticket through the official Envision Festival ticket resales platform that will be launching in 2021.  

Envision officially begins on Monday, February 21st, 2022 with checkout happening the morning of Monday, February 28th, 2022.

All ticket holders are welcome to arrive as early as 2pm on Sunday, February 20th in order to check into your accommodations, familiarize yourself with the festival grounds, and spend your first night onsite making friends with your neighbors and preparing for a full day of festival programming on Monday the 21st.

All VIP tickets for Envision Festival 2022 are SOLD OUT. We cannot offer upgrades at this time. 

Our VIP accommodations and camping are highly curated spaces. In order to stay in our onsite VIP accommodations, you will need to purchase a VIP ticket to have access to the space. Because VIP tickets are SOLD OUT for Envision Festival 2022, if you are currently a GA ticket holder you will need to select from our GA camping areas or our amazing selection of offsite hotels and rental homes. 

Yes, you should receive a confirmation email from Envision’s ticketing partner Easol to confirm your order after purchase. If you did not receive an email, log into your account at easol.com to verify that the correct email address is associated with your account. If you are still having issues, please reach out to hello@easol.com and their support team will help you verify your purchase.

Unfortunately, ticket fraud is a common occurrence and predatory scammers are getting savvier to separate you from your hard-earned funds. The best way to ensure that your tickets are legitimate is to purchase them directly from the Envision Festival website through our ticketing partner Easol, or through our ticketing resale platform when it launches in 2021. Envision does not sell tickets on any other platform and we cannot honor fraudulent tickets nor provide you with a refund in the event that you are scammed. Always use your best judgment and deal directly with Envision for any of your event purchases.

Please note that ticket purchasers will not receive a pdf ticket with scannable barcode until the month of the event. If someone is trying to sell you a pdf ticket prior to then, it is fraudulent. 

Yes, to transfer the name associated with any of your tickets please email our ticketing partner at hello@easol.com with your order number and the name of the individual you are looking to transfer to. If there are multiple tickets under your name, you will need to be present at the box office when your friend arrives in order for them to receive their wristband.

No further action is needed. The new ticket holder simply needs to show up to the box office on festival day with a photo ID and they will receive their wristband.

Yes, there is no restriction on the number of times you can transfer a ticket. Envision Festival does reserve the right to deny any requests for ticket transfer if we detect that fraudulent behavior may be occurring.

You should have received an order confirmation on completion of checkout, but your pdf ticket will not be emailed to you until the month of the festival. This is done to help prevent ticketing fraud by circulating mass quantities of pdf tickets and bar codes.

No, all of our tickets will be sent out via email prior to the start of the event. Please be sure to bring your ticket, either printed or on your mobile device, and your ID/Passport to be checked in when you arrive at the event.

The new ticket resale platform will launch during the Summer of 2021.

The festival takes place February 21st – 28th, 2022. Early Arrival (EA) is available on Sunday, February 20th for all ticket purchasers. The music ends at sunrise on Monday, February 28th and guests must vacate the festival grounds by 12pm on that Monday.

Envision is a 24 hour event that begins Monday, February 21st and goes through sunrise on Monday, February 28th. Beach access is available every day of the event from 6am to 6pm. The road to the beach will be closed overnight.

Please note Box Office hours below to ensure you arrive at a time that the festival can exchange your ticket for a wristband to allow you entry. Envision is not required to allow you entry to the event if you arrive during a time in which the box office is closed, regardless of whether you have pre-purchased a ticket or not.

Please note that there are separate check-in stations for ticket holders and for staff/interns/artists. Be aware of the times the box office is open so you don’t have to wait at the gate in order to get your wristband!

During the event, the gates are open to allow for you to come and go as you please. Envision provides 24hr entry / exit to all attendees that have already received their wristbands

Box office times will be released in the fall of 2021 and may be subject to change. Be sure to double check this information before arriving at the event.

All 7 day tickets purchased for Envision Festival 2020 will have access to the event on Sunday, February 20th starting at 2pm to maximize the 7 day experience. Your purchased accommodations will be ready and waiting for you.

Most vehicles will be parked in our main lot, which is directly adjacent to the venue. There is no satellite parking or shuttle system from the parking lot. This lot is for parking only – there is no car camping allowed at our event.

Your first stop upon arrival is the General Parking lot. All vehicles parking in the General Lot are subject to a single use impact fee or unlimited in-and-out event pass (Cash only). Our parking passes will be available to pre-purchase online in the Fall of 2021!

Camping is not included in admission tickets; it must be purchased separately. Please note that we have many different options for accommodations at Envision available. Our accommodations, on and offsite, can be found here: https://www.envisionfestival.com/shop-accommodation

If you plan to bring your own tent, we require a Bring Your Own Tent (BYOT) Impact Fee ($20 for GA; $50 for VIP plus local tax and fees) before you can enter the festival with your gear. These options are available upon checkout, and BYOT tags are strictly enforced at the security screening upon entry.
This goes for ALL VOLUNTEERS as well. Additionally, we recommend against using a hammock as your only form of shelter at the event as we cannot guarantee space. 

Please also note there is NO CAR CAMPING on site. You will be able to park in designated spots but there will be no option to car camp. Please plan accordingly!

YES! Our Village is home to a wide array of wonderful vendors with a focus on locally sourced and organically grown ingredients. The Villages Witches Elixir Bar also serves great beverages and treats.

While our offerings provide many options for dietary needs such as vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free, please plan ahead if you have special dietary restrictions or severe allergies.

Snacks and convenience items are available in La Pulpe General Store in the main campground. There is also a grocery store in Uvita which carries most basic products, but be sure to bring any specific medications and comfort items with you.

We are a Reusables-Only event! The first time you purchase a meal, you will pay a one-time fee for your dishware and utensils. After you eat, bring your dishes to the Dish Center and exchange them for a dish ticket, which can be used to acquire your dishes at your next meal. Repeat the process throughout the weekend. The small fee helps us produce less waste and conserve water.

Due to requirements from the Ministry of Health, all food must be served on Envision dishware. For those who choose to prepare their own food and bring their own dishes, there will be a dishwashing station and access to clean water.

No. In a partnership with local bar partners, such as Fuego Brew Co, to educate our patrons, and reduce the amount of plastic & glass waste inside our event, we do not permit ANY outside alcohol inside of the event. This regulation satisfies our permitting requirements and protects the safe ability to continue all of our Food & Beverage operations.  We will enforce bag & personal security checks upon entering.

YES, we have ice available in La Pulpe General Store for all guests and contributors. We will have the hours available in the Fall of 2021 as we draw closer to the event!

Bag Check offers safe and secure storage of belongings either for a day or the duration of the event. Bag Check is open 24 hours a day starting when gates open for Early Arrival on Sunday 2/20 until the event concludes on Monday 2/28 at 12 PM (Noon).

Absolutely! We encourage families of all shapes and sizes to be a part of our event and participate in the festivities. Please note that we do not offer a daycare service, so we ask that you stay with your children and enjoy the family activities together.

Children under 12 are FREE.  We have an awesome, fully interactive children’s zone with family specific camping, professional staff, and entertainers. Upon arrival, the box office staff will write the parent’s name and contact number on each child’s wristband. This is for safety, and we ask you to stay with your young children at all times. We will have onsite family camping options available for purchase in 2021.

While we do provide filtered drinking water to our guests, please help us end single use by bringing only large refillable containers for your campsite and a metal container for yourself. Envision water bottles are for sale at our merchandise store.

Showers are available during specific hours, posted at the Oasis, with a shower voucher. Shower vouchers can be purchased at the Oasis throughout the event.

Please bring ONLY biodegradable soap, such as Doctor Bronner’s Magic Soaps, for shower use. Please avoid any glass bottles for housing your soaps!

Yes. We have a thorough application process to make sure each applicant is qualified and certified to work.

Bienvenidos! When you arrive at the airport prepare for a welcoming wave of warm air. It’s a good idea to have a pair of sandals and shorts accessible to change into. Have your immigration paperwork completed and passport in hand. After immigration you will collect your bags and take them through customs. Don’t pack anything that you don’t want to explain or that is obviously restricted. Once you are through, be sure you have everything you brought with you and put your passport in a safe place.

We are happy to offer shuttle service from SJO Airport to Envision Festival. We’ll pick you up at the airport and drop you off at the front entrance. Shuttle passes are available for purchase, and we will reach out about your specific booking date/time in the Fall of 2021.

There are also taxis available outside of the airport. Make sure to use the taxis with an official yellow triangle. These are the official taxis of Costa Rica. They will accept U.S. dollars (nothing over $50 USD) or Costa Rican colones. Most of the taxis drivers speak a little bit of English, but it would be smart to study up on (at least) basic Spanish for directions and travel. Duolingo is a great app for that.

For those traveling from the United States, U.S. dollars are widely accepted throughout Costa Rica. Do not feel pressured to convert your money in the airport, as these locations are notorious for having the worst exchange rates. Instead, wait for the opportunity to go to a bank or just keep and use your dollars.  It is always smart to make your bank and credit cards aware that you will be traveling internationally to avoid and fraud alerts or locked accounts.  

The rate fluctuates a little but the rough exchange rate is (U.S. Currency) $1 = 500 colones, $10 = 5,000 colones and $20 = 10,000 colones.

Remember that you need a valid passport with a minimum of six months until expiration and proof of a return plane or bus ticket out of the country to travel into Costa Rica. Depending on your nationality you may need a Visa.

We are happy to offer shuttle service from SJO Airport to Envision Festival. We’ll pick you up at the airport and drop you off at the front entrance.

By Shuttle:

The Envision Team strongly recommends taking our three hour Envision Shuttle ride from SJO to the venue. It’s the safest and most hassle free way to get here! Envision will be operating it’s own daily shuttles before, during, and after the event – make friends on the trip down!

By Taxi:

There are taxis available outside of the airport, make sure to use the taxis with an official yellow triangle. These are the official taxis of Costa Rica. They will accept U.S. dollars (nothing over $50 USD) or Costa Rican colones. Most of the taxis drivers speak a little bit of English, but it would be smart to study up on (at least) basic Spanish for directions and travel. Duolingo is a great app for that. 

By Car:

From San José head west to Jaco and then south along the coast to Uvita.  We strongly recommend renting a GPS with your vehicle. Very few Costa Rican roads have names and it’s very easy to get lost. Smartphone Apps WAZE or Google Maps are also a good resources if you plan on having a 3g phone while you’re here. From the airport search from Juan Santamaria Airport Alajuela to Uvita, Puntarenas, Costa Rica. Envision will be clearly marked from the road about 2km north of Uvita.

Car Rentals

Please note that although 4 wheel drive is not needed to get to the festival venue, it is needed for many rental houses and hotels, and we highly recommend 4 wheel drive and FULL insurance coverage if you plan to explore the Southern Zone. Also note that most Car Rental Quotes that you find online do not include even the mandatory insurance coverage and they will force you to buy this before handing you the keys. 

By Bus:

You may also take a TRACOPA bus from San José Central to Paso Canoas and get off in Uvita, where they stop for a few minutes. This ride takes 4 hours, not including the transfer from the airport to the TRACOPA station in the city center (can be arranged by taxi or Uber). TRACOPA buses stopping in Uvita leave San Jose Center at 7:30 am, 10:15 am, 11 am, 12 noon, and 4:30 pm. The average cost is around $15 (not including the taxi fair from the airport to the bus station)

We provide two different options for those arriving by car, Single-Entry Parking or In/Out Parking. Your vehicle pass must be placed inside your vehicle on the windshield in the designated spot for the duration of your time on site. NO ONE IS PERMITTED TO CAMP IN THEIR CARS.

The parking area will be a short walking distance from the camping area this year and there will not be a shuttle. Please prepare for this when deciding how much stuff to bring with you to the festival.

Envision is not responsible for belongings left inside your vehicle, and we highly encourage you to leave valuables at home. You can also use our Gear Check service inside the event. DO NOT leave your vehicle parked on the roadside or anywhere outside the paid parking area.

Bicycles are permitted in the Main Parking area only. However, they must remain there and are not allowed within the festival grounds. There are plenty of trees to lock it up, but you must bring your own lock and chain.

Envision does not provide a shuttle service to local hotels. Official Envision Taxis are available 24/7 to take you where you may need to go. They're located outside of the Box Office in our Taxi waiting area (in the parking lot). It is very easy to travel locally between Envision to nearby hotels, hostels, and homes.

No, car camping is not available at Envision Festival. Due to the nature and location of our event, we are unable to provide car camping. Our parking lot is located outside of the festival grounds without services (restrooms, showers, etc). If you roll up in your camper, camper van, or converted bus, you must still either bring camping gear to camp inside the festival or choose from our amazing selection of onsite and offsite accommodations.

We do not allow amplified sounds but small personal speakers are allowed. As always, be mindful of your neighbors :)

No, we do not allow campfires or open flame of any kind, outside of our fire spinning area. To protect the land and jungle that we are able to produce our event on, we do not allow campfires or open flame grills. Propane and other white gas fueled stoves are allowed, but must be attended to at all times while in use.

Unfortunately, we don’t allow BYOT tags in our Ready Set Camp areas. BYOT is specifically for the general camping area. If your friends would like to upgrade from BYOT to Ready Set Camp, we will do our best to ensure everyone gets to camp together.

No, please leave all pets at home. The jungle is not a safe place for your pet.

Service Animals are allowed. If you require your service animal at the festival, please provide proper certification upon arrival, and have your animal wearing their identifiable outfit at all times. Also, your animal must always be on a leash and by your side at all times.

Service animals must check in with the box office upon arrival. Your animal will be tagged with your contact information and logged into our records. This process will provide you and your service animal with extra security. If your animal is found separated from you, they will be held at security until you can be reunited. If this happens more than once, you and your animal may be subject to ejection from the festival grounds.

No. The campgrounds are designed to be a peaceful and quiet space. Running a generator may not be pleasant to your neighbors, and we do not allow any amplified sound in the campgrounds. This is not your typical festival environment and we encourage you to explore the offerings as they are! Any unauthorized generators will be removed and held by our security team until the end of the event.

You may bring your own camping gear with payment of the Bring Your Own Tent Impact Fee. You will receive a BYOT tag at the box office which MUST be present at your security screening to enter with your camping gear. 

If you are traveling from afar or prefer to have your camp ready on arrival, we definitely encourage you to use our Ready-Set-Camp program! Onsite accommodations tend to sell out quickly, so please purchase early. If you still need a tent rental from us at the event and they are still available, we would be happy to provide these to you! Our onsite accommodations are LIMITED so don’t wait.

DO NOT CAMP UNDER A COCONUT TREE ANYWHERE IN COSTA RICA! COCONUTS ARE HEAVY, FALL A LONG WAY AND ARE QUITE UNPLEASANT IF THEY HIT YOU.

Access to the GA or VIP campgrounds (based on ticket purchased) to find a sweet spot to set up your tent. Please be conscious of your footprint and leave space for neighbors around you.

La respuesta corta sería: aún no estamos seguros. 

Nos resulta difícil pronosticar en este momento el nivel de distanciamiento social que tendremos que implementar para nuestro evento en el 2022. Sin embargo, estamos trabajando bajo la premisa de que tendremos que operar a una capacidad menor que años anteriores.

A raíz de esto y dado a que hemos recibido una retroalimentación increíblemente positiva acerca de la experiencia de 7 días por parte de quienes asistieron al evento en el 2020, hemos decidido finalizar la transición completa hacia un evento de 7 días.

Como resultado de esto, hemos:

  1. Reducido el precio de la entrada del tiquete de 7 días, tanto en GA como en VIP.

  2. Reducido significativamente el precio del tiquete de 7 días para ciudadanos costarricenses (aquellas personas que presenten su cédula de identidad en Envision Box Office).

  3. Implementado un nuevo plan de pagos flexible, el cual permitirá dividir los pagos automáticamente en un periodo de 6 meses.

Estamos muy emocionados de dar la bienvenida a la experiencia Envision 2022 en su total esplendor de una semana completa.

Envision Festival ha agotado los tiquetes disponibles los últimos tres años consecutivos. Dado a que actualmente planeamos admitir una menor capacidad este año, es muy probable que los tiquetes se agoten en las primeras etapas de venta.

El mejor momento para comenzar a planear el viaje a Envision es y siempre será ahora mismo.

Aunado al hecho de que nuestras opciones de tiquetes y alojamiento se han agotado durante los últimos tres años, comprar el tiquete con anticipación da acceso a los mejores precios y a las mejores opciones de tiquetes para poder disfrutar de la mejor experiencia posible.  

La única excepción a esta regla sería tener acceso a una máquina del tiempo (te estoy viendo Marty McFly). De ser el caso, por favor envíenos un correo a info@envisionfestival.com, ya que nos gustaría hablar con usted acerca de viajar de regreso en el tiempo y revivir Envision 2020.

Tras consultar con nuestro equipo interno de seguridad sobre los posibles escenarios creados por expertos, nos sentimos bastante optimistas y confiados que Envision 2022 va a realizarse de acuerdo a lo planeado. 

Sin embargo, sabemos que nadie puede predecir el futuro ni asegurar se recibirá el valor de cualquier compra realizada con Envision.

En caso que Envision 2022 fuera cancelado o bien pospuesto, usted tendrá tres opciones para sus tiquetes o acomodaciones:

  1. Los tiquetes serán transferidos automáticamente a la nueva fecha establecida para el Festival. 

  2. Los tiquetes podrán ser transferidos a cualquiera de las fechas en los tres años siguientes: 2023, 2024 o 2025.

  3. Los tiquetes podrán ser revendidos por medio de la plataforma oficial de reventa de tiquetes de Envision Festival, la cual estará activa para el 2021.

De acuerdo con los Términos y Condiciones de nuestros tiquetes, no podremos ofrecer el reembolso de los mismos bajo ninguna razón.

Para construir Envision se requiere del esfuerzo de miles de personas para hacer posible un ecosistema tan complejo como el del evento. Muchas de estas personas trabajan a lo largo de todo el año y llegan a la propiedad de Envision hasta 6 meses antes del evento para trabajar en el proceso de construcción. Esto significa que la gran mayoría de nuestros gastos se realizan con gran anterioridad a las fechas del festival. De ser el caso que ofrecieramos la opción de reembolso del dinero, esto podría fácilmente conducir a un reto existencial que nuestra compañía no podría superar.

Queremos que la comunidad disfrute de Envision por décadas por venir. Nuestro trabajo para generar un impacto positivo en nuestro planeta no está ni cerca de estar completo, y deseamos externar el nivel de importancia que representa para nosotros la confianza a  pesar de toda la incertidumbre en la cual se encuentra el mundo hoy en día. 

El nuevo sistema de Plan de Pagos de Envision permitirá separar los pagos a lo largo de un periodo de 6 meses. Se paga un depósito al momento del primer Check Out, el cual será el equivalente a 1/6 del valor total del balance sobre la compra.

Los pagos pendientes se cobrarán de manera automática, el mismo día del mes en el que realizó la primera compra, a lo largo de los siguientes 6 meses sin necesidad de ninguna acción adicional. 

En caso de que el pago falle (ej: la tarjeta expiró, tiene fondos insuficientes o bien la tarjeta es rechazada por el banco), nosotros:

  1. Notificaremos al comprador sobre el fallo, y se intentará procesar el pago nuevamente en 7 días. Esto le da la oportunidad al comprador de resolver su situación bancaria.

  2. Si el pago falla nuevamente, se le notificará de nuevo al respecto. Se intentará nuevamente el cobro en 7 días. 

  3. Si el pago falla por tercera vez, procedemos a realizar la cancelación de la reservación, la cual le será notificada. 

Es importante tener presente que en caso de cancelar una reservación a raíz de un fallo en arreglar la situación bancaria, la orden de compra será cancelada y se perderá el depósito al igual que cualquier ítem que se haya pagado.

Entendemos que muchas cosas pueden cambiar de aquí a febrero 2022, y queremos externar plena confianza en que cada compra realizada siempre va a mantener el valor.

Por ende, en caso de que la disponibilidad de viajar cambie, cada comprador podrá cambiar voluntariamente cualquier compra de tiquetes para un año a futuro desde ahora hasta el 1 de septiembre del 2021. Después del 1ro de septiembre del 2021, cada comprador podrá cambiar su tiquete únicamente para un año en el futuro, de ser el caso que Envision 2022 sea cancelado o pospuesto. De igual manera, cada comprador podrá revender su tiquete por medio de la plataforma oficial de reventa de tiquetes de Envision Festival, la cual será lanzada al público en el 2021.

Envision comienza oficialmente el Lunes 21 de febrero del 2022, y finaliza la mañana del 28 de febrero del 2022.

Todas las personas que tengan su tiquete serán bienvenidas a partir de el domingo 20 de febrero, de manera que puedan ingresar y familiarizarse con el festival, sus acomodaciones respectivas y pasar su primera noche en el sitio estableciendo amistad con sus vecinos y preparándose para un día programado con actividades del festival a partir del lunes 21 de febrero.
