Our roots run deep, as deep as a decade. As a community we’ve grown. As a festival we continue to flourish. As a movement we're transforming in intentional ways. We look back with gratitude and ahead with optimism as we build the new together.
Times have changed, and we know things feel uncertain and even potentially isolating, but we’ve all got a superpower which is the collection of love & community we cultivated last month in the jungle. Join us in spreading the ripple of magic from our time together out into the world.
We invite you to tap back into the essence of Envision and pull strength from our founding collective.
During this unprecedented moment in human history, we invite everyone to take some time to really tune into what Envision represents -- the love & care that we hold for one another and the Earth is at the core of everything we do. Imagine the possibilities and shifts if we all kept those core truths in mind in our free will.
Envision is a community. We started as a dream, grew into a festival and have now ever-evolved into a thriving and holistic ecosystem. The Envision morals and ideals are spawned from regenerative communities that Stephen Brooks, Sarah Wu and I have built throughout Costa Rica. We are a community that supports each other. We aim to lift those that are struggling, share knowledge where improvements can be made to our system, and practice selflessness in times of need.
This is a time where those that are more fortunate need to look to help those that aren’t and reach out to move forward together. Envision Festival is a springboard, a platform, a forum and a demonstration of our version of a new paradigm. As many of our creative industries face unknown challenges and an uphill climb, we have something so much bigger to share. We are a beacon of light into a new way of living that empowers individuals, connects change makers and truly builds intentional communities that can be self sufficient.
We believe in solutions, instead of problems.
The human species and our over complex civilization is more fragile than we ever could have imagined. Although the idealisms are potent and something the world desperately needs, this is not a new radical idea. We did not invent new technology. We are simply a reminder that we are all a community and that we are an integral part of nature. We must take care of our home.
We are poised to be world leaders in promoting and creating a new paradigm for living. So come with us. The world is ready. The time is now.
It is our honor and privilege to welcome you back to the seventh year at our home, Rancho La Merced, outside Uvita in Costa Rica, and soon to be our 11th year of Envision Festival. Perfectly perched at the junction where the rainforest meets pristine tropical beach, Rancho la Merced is everything that we could ask for and the true jewel of our invitation to Costa Rica. Our 10-Year Anniversary raised the bar, and we will continue leading the way of regenerative festival production while strengthening the movement that is Envision. Want to build our home with us? Support our 10k Tree Challenge where we'll continue regenerating our land through planting 10,000 trees in 2020.Learn More

Envision is built on 7 pillars and is we are deeply committed upholding them throughout every facet of our experience. They will always serve as foundations of our brand that remain unchanged over time. The pillars are integral aspects of who we are as an organization that we will always weave into our fabric, even as we evolve and grow in our expression.Learn More
Envision Festival and Rancho La Merced would like to thank you for helping keep Envision a conscious and progressive gathering by maintaining awareness throughout the event about your impact to this beautiful land on which Envision is held. We are a 'Leave No Trace' event, and pride ourselves on leaving the land in as good if not better condition than we found it. Between our annual on-site Tree Planting ceremony during the event, our post-event beach clean ups, or our annual highway and coastal restoration projects there are countless ways to make a direct impact on Rancho La Merced, and greater Costa Rica! We appreciate all you do to support our eco-initiatives.
We work hard to permanently support the community of Uvita that has welcomed us with such a warm embrace over the years. It's been a beautiful journey of co-existing in Costa Ballena. Each year we strive to improve the local community and work together with the people of Uvita to directly support social impact programs. From working with local residents, volunteers and government officials on numerous beach and highway cleanups, to sponsoring local lifeguards, professional surf teams and surrounding schools, we work tirelessly to give back to the communities that unwaveringly support ours. Stay tuned to find numerous ways to support these efforts!
To educate our patrons, and reduce the amount of plastic & glass waste inside our event, we no longer permit ANY outside alcohol inside of the event. We enforce bag & person security checks upon entering.
